  2. It was originally created as an international language. Mr. Zamenhoff, who lived in Poland back in the 19th century, invented this language. There was a lack of communication between four groups; the Poles, the Russians, the Germans, and the Jews who may have spoken Hebrew during the time. They couldn't understand each other and they were conflicts. So, he invented this language for all the ethnic groups to learn it so that they can communicate with each other. I would agree with you concerning the language's combination, but it has some Slavic influence. The numeral system is basically an Asian system. The number nine (naux) is the same word for nine in both Welsh and Hindustani!
